Dr. Leshchinsky has his B.S. from the University of
Delaware, and his M.S., M.Phil, and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Columbia
University. He is an associate professor at Oregon State. In addition to
teaching classes in Forest Engineering and Civil Engineering, he has published
numerous papers relating to his wide variety of research interests. These interests
include slope
stability, earth retaining structures, railroad engineering, geosynthetics,
behavior of granular materials, degradation of granular materials, and
reinforced soil.
