Armando Alcazar Magana

Research Associate
Mass Spectrometry Center & Linus Pauling Institute
Oregon State University

I obtained my PhD in analytical chemistry and graduated summa cum laude honorable mention in multidisciplinary collaborations. My analytical formation was enriched with extensive training in molecular biology at Sydney University and applied bioengineering at Nagaoka University. My research is aimed at developing and applying LC-MS/MS-based strategies to detect and identify metabolites in diverse biological samples for biomarker discovery and pathway regulation. I have extensive experience in the analysis of biomolecules using mass spectrometry in conjunction with separation and enrichment techniques.
