Chad Higgins is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biological and Ecological Engineering, as well as an Associate Director in Water Resources Engineering, both at OSU. Higgins received a B.S. in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Cornell University. Additionally, Higgins received a M.E. in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
Higgin’s interests include environmental fluid mechanics with a special interest in applications of atmospheric flows and hydrology, optimum water management in agriculture, and the measurement and modeling of fluxes through the soil-plant-atmosphere continuum.
