Credentials: Bogdan M. Strimbu Graduated in 1992 with a bachelors in Forest Operations, from Transilvania University, Romania. He then went to University of British Columbia where he pursed a masters and Ph.D. in Forest Management, in 2003 and 2009 respectively. Continuing his search for knowledge, Strimbu Pursued a Masters in Mathematics/Statistics from Louisiana Tech University, which he achieved in 2011.

A scalar measure tracing tree species composition in space or time (2018)
A posteriori bias correction of three models used for environmental reporting (2018)
His research interests include, Biometrics, Forest modeling, Forest planning, Remote sensing, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
